Motorcyclist killed in River Road crash identified

The man killed in a motorcycle crash on River Road Monday evening was Dustin Eli Green, 34, of Forestville, the CHP said Tuesday.

Green was speeding, lost control of his bike and crashed into a Plymouth Voyager minivan, according to a crash investigation.

He also may have been drinking prior to the ride, as the CHP reported alcohol was believed to be a factor.

Green died in the impact.

At about 7:20 p.m. he'd been riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle, headed west on River Road, the CHP said.

At Trenton Road he started to turn and hit the mini van. That driver, Jacquelyn Imlach, 52, of Rio Nido, wasn't injured.

She'd been heading east on River Road and saw that a collision was imminent. She swung her steering wheel to the right and locked up her brakes, the CHP said.
