Djangofest: This 10th annual music festival features three days of performances by some of the most talented Gypsy Jazz musicians in the world, all celebrating the music of the iconic Django Reinhardt. Some of the bands and musicians performing this year are the Robin Nolan Trio, Hot Club d'Europe, Pearl Django, and more. Anne Lamott: The bestselling author will be at Book Passage for an afternoon of inspiration when she shares everything she knows about writing. The event will feature an onstage interview, a lecture, and a Q&A session. Lamott will offer advice on the writing process, and reveal tidbits from her own writing process and experiences. Healdsburg Jazz Festival: The 10-day festival's live jazz continues today as vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson joins the piano duo Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes at 7:30 Friday at the Raven Theater, 115 North St., Healdsburg. $45-$65. Beerfest: Benefiting nonprofit Face to Face, the popular event runs 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, with food from local chefs and beer from more than 60 Northern California microbreweries, plus live music by Rovetti & Meatballs band.
