Suspect sought in Santa Rosa Exchange Bank robbery

Santa Rosa police are looking for a man who robbed an Exchange Bank branch Wednesday on Stony Point Road.

The man entered the bank shortly before 4 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money, Sgt. David Linscomb said in a news release. The man did not display a weapon. The teller gave him money and he left on foot; police did not say how much cash he took.

The robber is described as a white man in his 50s, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a stocky build, blue or green eyes, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white jacket and white baseball cap.

Exchange Bank is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the conviction of the man.
