Patti Hannan has been named chief revenue officer at Sonoma Media Investments, which owns The Press Democrat and four other North Bay publications.
Hannan will be responsible for all revenue from advertising, digital and circulation products and services.
Most recently, Hannan served as vice president of sales and marketing for the Oklahoma Publishing Company, which publishes The Oklahoman and NewsOK.com. There, she launched and directed a digital marketing agency similar to the PD Media Lab, which builds and hosts custom websites for local businesses. She also developed dozens of new products and services to better serve the business community, said Steve Falk, CEO of Sonoma Media Investments.
“We are very fortunate to attract a media executive with Patti's experience and expertise to our group of Sonoma County print and digital products. She is one of the most experienced advertising executives in the country and will bring many new products and services to the business community and readers alike,” Falk said.
Before moving to Oklahoma, Hannan was advertising sales manager for the Dallas Morning News and spent 13 years at the Minneapolis Star Tribune in several advertising management positions including retail sales manager, senior account executive/automotive, retail account manager and public relations manager.
In addition to The Press Democrat, Sonoma Media Investments owns the Sonoma Index-Tribune, Petaluma Argus-Courier, North Bay Business Journal and Sonoma Magazine.
