Non-fiction and children's fiction writer Joelle Burnette and poet, artist, performer Lilith Rogers share their work. The Healdsburg Literary Guild is an organization dedicated to the written word. Their salons are held every third Sunday, with featured writers and an open-mic session for other who wish to share their craft.

Amy Gutierrez ("Amy G" to San Francisco Giants fans) tells the inspiring story of older sister Marty, who teaches the game (and love) of baseball to her younger brother Mikey. Amy G's story, illustrated by Adam McCauley, appeals to both boys and girls and also defies the strong gender stereotypes that Amy herself has battled in her 16-year career as a sports journalist and reporter.
