BUSINESS JOURNAL EVENT

Best Places to Work event registration closes Friday

NORTH BAY, Sept. 15, 2008 – Registration closes Friday for the NORTH BAY BUSINESS JOURNAL'S third annual Best Places to Work competition, where winners will be honored at a gala reception Sept. 25 at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park. The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $70 per person or $750 for a table of ten, including company name on table sign. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 707-521-5264.

The winners were selected from 104 nominees by the BUSINESS JOURNAL editorial department based on several criteria, including the results of an anonymous employee survey and a company application that provided information on issues such as diversity, benefits and community involvement.

A record number of nearly 5,000 employees participated this year in an anonymous online survey that is part of the competition, a 25 percent increase over 2007. Profiles of the winners will appear in a special publication supplementing the Sept. 29 issue.
