Health benefits survey, resource guide seek input
Friday, September 12, 2008
In this pursuit, employers and employees in Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Solano counties have the opportunity to get involved by filling out a short, anonymous survey on benefits and how they have changed in recent years.
The goal is to create the most comprehensive snapshot of what health insurance looks like in as many industries and businesses as possible. The results will be coupled with other data and anecdotal material from providers across the region and complement the BUSINESS JOURNAL's annual conference, which will focus on innovation and the future of health care.
The surveys are available from a link on the NORTH BAY BUSINESS JOURNAL Web site at www.northbaybusinessjournal.com. Look for the link titled “North Bay Employee Benefits Survey.” It will have a version for employees and one for employers and will be open until Oct. 15.
For other suggestions about the research or the survey, e-mail afurness@busjrnl.com or call 707-521-4257.
Also, the 2008 Health Care Resource Guide will run in the Nov. 10 issue of the BUSINESS JOURNAL, and medical groups, medical transport companies and organizations that provide health-related services should contact the journal if they would like to be included and have not yet been contacted.
For information on the resource guide, call 707-521-4258 or e-mail research@busjrnl.com.
