Woman leaps from trunk of own car

COVINA -- Authorities said a 21-year-old woman allegedly attacked by a man in Covina and forced into the trunk of her own car escaped by leaping from the vehicle as it raced down a freeway.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Gary Lindenmayer said the woman, whose name has not been released, met a 25-year-old man at a party and left with him early Sunday.
Lindenmayer said the man then knocked the woman unconscious. Lindenmayer said the woman woke up in the trunk and managed to jump out of the vehicle as it sped along the 57 Freeway.
She suffered road rash and injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
A suspect's identity is being withheld pending further investigation.

If someone is making up stories it is the Angeles County Sheriff's Department. If they are untrue (doubtful in this case) it is indeed news.Why would I want visit a BB where people with such little understanding of personal rights to privacy, and reporting responsibilities would congregate?

you guys are retarded..... the story is very true. it's just not the whole story. they can't tell everything because it's still being investigated but she was beat pretty bad when she came to in the trunk. a very sad story for a young girl...... have some compassion!

I have to agree with you! This had to be horrifying for her. Tell your daughters that w omen's liberation includes the good choice of not going with some man you meet at a party. Once you get in someones car if they have evil intent, you are done!
