Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park police continue to search for the man they believe is a suspect in six armed robberies over an 11-day period.

Rohnert Park police Wednesday identified Matthew Meehan, 25, of Rohnert Park as a suspect in a Valero robbery Aug. 19 and an electronics store robbery Aug. 23.

Santa Rosa police said they believe the suspect in a series of gas station robberies in Santa Rosa could also be Meehan.

Meehan remained at large Thursday, said Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Steve Bair.

Rohnert Park police have warned that Meehan is considered armed and dangerous.

"We are urging the public not to confront him, to pick up the phone, call 911 and be a good witness," said Rohnert Park Police Sgt. Art Sweeney.
