Teen stabbed in Sonoma gang battle
Last Modified: Friday, August 8, 2008 at 8:12 a.m.
A Sonoma teenager was arrested late Thursday in connection with the stabbing of another teen in what authorities said was a gang-related fight.
Simon Calvillo, 19, was apprehended at his residence about 11:07 p.m. by deputies from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department gang unit and the Sonoma Police Department.
He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, with a gang enhancement, and held at the Sonoma County Jail on $150,000 bail.
The victim, an 18-year-old El Verano resident who was not identified, suffered three serious but not life-threatening stab wounds to his arm and ankle, Sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Thompson said. He was also struck with a bat.
Family members brought the victim to Sonoma Valley Hospital about 9 p.m. Thursday. The victim told investigators that he and some friends were surrounded by seven or eight males wielding knives, sticks and bats in the 300 block of Verano Ave.
The suspects chased the victim and assaulted him, then fled. Thompson said the incident “appeared to have been gang-motivated.”
An investigation is continuing.

Sanctuary County seems to be "right on track" keeping a good supply of Mexican Gang members at the ready.

jlccsimfamrpnca,, no you do not want to give us amnesty but you will because you needs us just like we need to be in this country to work and feed our families and to do the jobs that white people don't like to do because they simply cant hard work is not for lazy people ... so like it or not is a love and hate relationship and we don't like you racist arogant people but we have to be here to provide a better life for our family.. so like it or not you needs us as much as we need you. ARE YOU HERE LEGALLY?

Just doing the job white people won't do is about the most racist statement coming from a hispanic. So you're no better than the other racists on here.Second, the statement is a myth. Who do you think built this country into the greatest and most productive in the whole world. White people. How could that have happened if we were all lazy? It couldn't. Now take a look at Mexico and it's easy to see who the lazy culture is.

I always liked Joe Rogan's response to the "BUILD THE WALL!" crowd:
"Who do you think are going to be the ones building it?"
