A Forestville woman struck by a car early Sunday in Windsor was discharged from Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Edila Anzilotta Dimock, 44, was delivering The Press Democrat in the gated Lakewood Hills neighborhood when she was hit by an 18-year-old suspected of drunken driving, police said. Dimock suffered a broken jaw, collar bone and ribs.
Sarah Finny was driving in the Lakewood Hills neighborhood about 5:10 a.m. when she crashed head-on into Dimock's car, which was stopped along a curb, police said. Finny's car then ran onto a lawn, hit two parked cars and a tree, and caught on fire, police said.
Finny was not injured and was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. She posted $30,000 bail Tuesday and was released from Sonoma County Jail. Her next court appearance is unknown.
