Fires from Two Rock, Rincon Valley and other spots sent smoke across Sonoma County Tuesday afternoon and brought out firefighters on land and by air.

A Cal Fire helicopter attacked hot spots on a grass fire on Two Rock Road, west of Petaluma.

Meanwhile, firefighters from Rancho Adobe battled flames at a structure fire on Acacia Lane in Cotati. It threatened wildlands in the area but was contained before spreading, according to Ginger Hamilton, a dispatcher with Windsor Fire.

A fire on Wallace Road in the Rincon Valley area also ignited Tuesday afternoon but was quickly extinguished.
