The Web 2.0 Expo kicks off in San Francisco today, bringing together a wide array of Internet professionals.

The annual event, which is co-hosted by Sebastopol-based O’Reilly Media, has become a hotbed for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and corporate executives looking to discover the latest happenings online.

Workshops include three-hour classes ranging from search engine optimization to how to build an application for Facebook.

The conference begins tomorrow with an all-access pass costing $1,595. Tickets to the Expo Hall cost $100.
