Registration for Impact Marin Conference closes Friday

SANTA ROSA, Feb. 4, 2008 – Registration for the NORTH BAY BUSINESS JOURNAL'S 2008 Impact Marin Conference, which will address top issues shaping the future of business in Marin County, will close on Friday, Feb. 4. The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Rafael. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a table of 10 and include continental breakfast.

Brian Sobel, principal consultant of Sobel Communications, will give an election year overview, taking a look at potential outcomes and their impact on local issues. A panel discussion will follow, focusing on how recent developments in health care, transportation and public issues will influence local business. Panelists include city of San Rafael Mayor Al Boro, Marin County Administrator Matthew Hymel, Chairwoman of the Marin Healthcare District Sharon Jackson and Dianne Steinhauser, executive director of the Transportation Authority of Marin. BUSINESS JOURNAL Editor Brad Bollinger will moderate the discussion.
